Safety Evaluation of Intersection Conflict Warning Systems (ICWS)

 

The U.S. Federal Highway Administration has developed a technical brief that explores the safety effectiveness of intersection conflict warning systems (ICWS) intended to reduce the frequency of crashes by alerting drivers of conflicting vehicles on adjacent approaches at unsignalized intersections.
