Thermodynamics Between RAP/RAS and Virgin Aggregates During Asphalt Concrete Production—A Literature Review

The University of Illinois Center for Transportation has released a report that considers the extent to which thermodynamics and heat transfer principles can be used to predict virgin aggregate temperature for drying and heating reclaimed asphalt pavement/recycled asphalt shingles(RAP/RAS) at a drum plant.
