Distribution of Chloride, pH, Resistivity, and Sulfate Levels in Backfill for Mechanically-Stabilized Earth Walls and Implications for Corrosion Testing

The Florida Department of Transportation has released a report that discussed mechanically-stabilized earth wall projects, including the variability of the corrosion properties of soil, the number of soil type samples analyzed prior to acceptance of a backfill, and the extent to which corrosion properties of backfill material changed.
