Laboratory Studies Investigating the Use of Blended PSV Aggregate

The Transport Research Laboratory has released a report that presents the results of two laboratory experiments conducted to examine how the use of two different blended aggregates: (1) aggregates that have high resistance to polishing combined with aggregates with lower resistance to polishing and (2) aggregates with high resistance to polishing combined with reclaimed asphalt pavement in thin surface course systems that affect friction. This report is available for no fee after logging onto the site.
