Flexible Pavement Design: State of the Practice

The National Center for Asphalt Technology at Auburn University has released a report that discusses transitioning from the empirically-based design methods of flexible pavements to new mechanistic-empirical pavement design and analysis methods recently developed by the National Cooperative Highway Research Program and adopted by AASHTO.
