TRB’s National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Synthesis Program has issued a request for letters of interest to develop a reference document for City, County and State Hydraulic Engineers to protect roadways from extended periods of inundation. The document will describe the mechanics of embankment erosion, analysis tools available, and products for embankment protection and diking systems.

Letters of interest are due by August 15, 2014.
