RFP Reissued: Proposed Enhancements to Pavement ME Design: Improved Consideration of the Influence of Subgrade and Unbound Layers on Pavement Performance

TRB’s National Cooperative Highway Research Program has reissued a request for proposal to propose enhancements to the Pavement Mechanistic-Empirical Design procedures to better reflect the influence of subgrade and unbound layers (properties and thicknesses) on the performance of flexible and rigid pavements. Proposals are due by April 15, 2015.

A request for proposals for this project was originally released on October 11, 2013; no award was made. The purpose of this new request is to initiate a new competition for this project. Please note that the title has been changed and minor revisions have been made to the project scope. This solicitation is open to all proposers, including any agencies that responded to the earlier project statement.
