RFP: The Effects of Recycling Agents on Asphalt Mixtures with High RAS and RAP Binder Ratios

TRB’s National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) has issued a request for proposals to evaluate the effectiveness of recycling agents in hot mix asphalt (HMA) and warm mix asphalt (WMA) mixtures with high reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), recycled asphalt shingles (RAS), or combined RAS/RAP binder ratios through a coordinated program of laboratory and field experiments. The project will also develop proposed revisions to several relevant American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials specifications and test methods, and develop training and workshop materials and deliver one workshop. Proposals are due October 17, 2013.
